Kurt Baringer is a television Producer/Director and also the General Manager of JTV, Inc in Jackson Michigan. He started his career in television news, later went corporate, and eventually found himself at the helm of America’s first all-local commercial cable station JTV-17 www.JTV.tv.
Kurt Baringer has been instrumental in creating and developing several of JTV’s award-winning series’ including: Kroger’s presents “Home for Dinner” (where Adrien Sharp of “The Next Food Network’s Star” got his start), the Craft Agency presents “Where We Live”, “Behind the Badge”, “Made in Jackson”, “The Locker Room”, and “From the Ground Up”. He’s also produced several award-winning documentary specials including: “Haunted Jackson”, and “The Battle of Spotsylvania”.
